I'm in Taiwan

And so I'm back home.

Read "Brokeback mountain" during my plane ride here. It is actaully one of many short stories in the book "close range". Everyone should read it, it's no more than 30 pages.

Feeling how terrible an over-conservative society can strike on a harmless minority group. We should learn to tolerate different kinds of people if we want to move towards a mature future.

Then I feel so lucky to be living in Taiwan, which is the most free place in this world. You can castigate the president and you'll be absolutely fine. You can tell a big lie to the public and no one will charge you. Hahaha...such a fun place with freedom of speech, thought, etc.

I was quite pissed reading the e-mail just now because someone wrote to me,"... ...Taiwan part of China yah :)". Don't like to start politics in my blog. Just that I haven't got angry for like, 5 years already? Hahaz...last time I got angry was someone squashed my project prototype under a soccer ball in secondary school. Hmmm... getting angry now makes a rare record.

So, never bring up sensitive issues during conversation such as politics, religion, height, weight and salary. You'll be shooting yourself in the toes if you do so.

I've blogged in English again because people are happy I blog in english =) I like people to be happy.
