Due to incredibly high-demand, I shall blog in English, for once. Do cheer alright?
Let me tell you why blogs die off. Noticed that people use blog as their personal diaries, except that they are not so personal to the extent of giving away private issues. At first, the blog is full of drive, cheerfully recording down what an eventful day they had. Their friends read with glee and respond with playful comments. This sense of blogging-excitement last for quite a while, exactly like the excitement found in a newly formed couple who first held hands. However, when the novelty wears off, people start to question the reason to update their blogs consistently. Is it so important to keep friends constantly updated when it seems more meaningful to meet up once in a while? This exhibitionist world of blogging soon evolved to be a parasite feasting on their souls. Soon, the result, a stagnant blog.
If you’ve been following my blog, you’ll see I’ve been siding towards expository essays. When you write your opinions rather than yourself, you’ll feel a greater sense of accomplishment. Cyberspace is like a massive body of seawater. If you kept on throwing part of yourself into this gigantic structure, you’ll feel tired and lethargic soon enough. When you start contributing ideas rather than giving yourself away, you feel your purpose in this enormous terrain populated by known/unknown people. Never stand by the seashore and allow heartless tides strike on your body, devouring bits and pieces of you. Construct a boat and set sail.
The above is merely my theory, feel free to disagree.
So do you see the reason I blog in Chinese? I can’t write good English expository essay.
